Feb. 1st, 2010 11:07 amJust a reminder that halfamoon starts today and runs until February 14. If you have fanworks that celebrate female characters or want to see some more fanworks dedicated to female characters, head on over and check it out.
They also have an Impromptuathon going on as well; submissions don't have to be long and there's already a variety of prompts, so if you don't have the time to do a full length fanwork, this might be something for you. I've been thinking about writing a meta on the women of Percy Jackson for a while, so that might be my contribution, as well as a fic...if I can get my Big List of Other Fics finished first, that is.
Also if you're interested,percy_annabeth is hosting a friending meme throughout the week.

I believe around seven or eight fics have been submitted, and I'm trying to work on one myself, but I've got a ridiculous plot bunny munching on my brain right now that won't let go and let me work on other things. So, in short, head on over and submit some fic/art/whatever you feel like.

I think this'll be an awesome challenge, because the holidays are insane for normal families and the Olympians are just insane in general, so hilarity will ensue. Icy Roses and I had a conversation about this over AIM like a week ago that went something like:

The prompt post will open tomorrow morning. The only difference between this battle and all the others ones is that all the prompts must relate to Halloween. I don't care what it is - vampires, candy corn, skeletons, Jason - as long as it can be connected to Halloween, you're good to go.
