Notes: So. Over the course of writing (and rewriting and rewriting) this chapter, I had a massive crisis with the plot of this fic that I needed to get through before finishing it. I had the breakthrough I needed earlier this week, and forced myself to power through to the end, so sorry if I haven't responded to any comments/emails/pms any of you've left in the last couple of days! I'll be getting all caught up within the next day or so.

( Surprisingly, Rachel Dare's idea of a fun night out with the boy she might have some vaguely romantic feelings toward did not include getting dragged down into the New York City sewers by a monster that looked like cross between an angry caterpillar and an unhappy squid. )

Notes: Long time, no update on this sucker, huh? I meant to have this finished before Christmas, but life caught up to me and this took much longer than it should have to write. I blame Apollo and Hades; they were being difficult. Enjoy!

( Out of all the gods, Apollo was the worst in terms of time wasting and the annoyance factor. His last few visits had been fairly unpleasant, mostly because the other immortal thought it would be amusing to speak only in iambic pentameter. )

Notes: The original Chapter 6 word count was getting up to about 8,000 words and I still hadn't written a pretty long scene smack dab in the middle of the chapter, so I decided to split it up into two chapters.
