It's prompt time, baby!

Prompt post is open for the Winter Holiday Challenge at
pjo_fic_battle.
I think this'll be an awesome challenge, because the holidays are insane for normal families and the Olympians are just insane in general, so hilarity will ensue. Icy Roses and I had a conversation about this over AIM like a week ago that went something like:
greenconverses: I mean, an Olympus Christmas? Holy shit, there is so many ways that can just go HORRIBLY WRONG.
Icy Roses: Wow, I never even thought of that.
greenconverses: Like Ares gets a sweater for Christmas instead of like a bazooka or something
Icy Roses: Hahahaha. Hera would buy him a sweater.
greenconverses: she'd buy everyone sweaters and useless stuff they wouldn't need
Icy Roses: Zeus probably wouldn't give any presents.
greenconverses: Hera would have to buy them for him and she'd be pissed about it the entire time
Icy Roses: I bet Athena would get a live octopus in a box from Poseidon.
greenconverses: OH MY GOD YES
Icy Roses: She would be so pissed, and it would be hilarious.
greenconverses: Apollo would write everyone shitty poems and perform them and they'd all have to pretend to like them
Icy Roses: Yes yes yes
Yeah, there's no way Christmas or any other winter holiday in Percy Jackson fandom wouldn't go down with some kind of epic fail or a moment of awesome. Go prompt away, my pretties!

Date: 2009-12-08 07:27 am (UTC)Nike and Serapis probably only get presents if the gods do Secret Santa.
though don't tell Demeter about Santa Claus...she'd probably be inspired to give her son-in-law presents full of coal.
(yes, I read a Percy Jackson book - reviewed it too; it was a fun read)

Some people celebrate in late December,
But most of the Olympians, they just grieve.
