Why can't I write?!

I really just want to write some Larrin centric fic to spite some of the fanbrats on GateWorld but I can't bring myself to do it!

I want to write something for because I think she could be a great character if the PTB used her for more than just the token "sexy alien"...which they can't even do for Teyla, so I'm not holding high hopes if she returns next season. And because the character hate for her is astounding. and unnecessary. 

I want to write John/Larrin fic because she's one of the only Not!Teyla girls John's hooked up with that I actually liked and the pr0n I have in my brain for them demands to be written! I want to write a fic about her after her encounter with John in Travelers and what changes their alliance will bring to her people. I'd like to write a Teyla and Larrin friendship fic because we have two kick ass alien leaders and all anyone wants to do is have them fight each other and get in a bitch fight over John or something when it'd be in their best interests to work together and kick everyone else's asses, dammit. Also, in my own little world, Larrin's almost ten years younger than Teyla and totally looks up to her like she's an older sister, and is always dragging her into crazy scenarios like going undercover in this outfit after Larrin's team gets captured or signing them up for a double team boxing-like competition off-world where they get bloody and sweaty and Teh Boyz are liek, "OMG, girl fight ftw!" And then to round it off, there'd be John/Teyla/Larrin pr0n. Because threesomes rock.

I've had these ideas for weeks but I just can't get them out! GAH.


Also, I want to write a version of this fic by ruby_caspar. Specifically, I want to write the smut that she left out because seriously? John-in-Teyla's-body and Teyla-in-John's-body sex would be pretty hot. Weird, but hot. But I can't get any of that out of me either!

If it makes you feel any better, I may not like what tptb did with Larrin, but I like the character as portrayed by the actress just fine. And yes, there needs to be lots of John/Teyla/Larrin pr0n! *looks around wistfully*

...I think most of the Larrin hate is coming from the het community, because I haven't seen very much of it in the slash/poly arena....

Most of the John/Teyla shippers are seeing her (and Kaanan too, but that's another rant entirely) as threats to the One True Lurve of their ship, and that's where I'm seeing most of the hate. J/T's my OTP, but I don't get my panties in a wad when a "canon" ship threat shows up. That just makes things interesting to write about in fic. :D

I think their just needs to be more OT3 period. The world would be a much better place.

I'm frankly shocked the J/T shippers would care. These are folks who (for the most part) blithely ignored the J/E going on all around them for the better part of three years. Who cares about canon? It's being written by a bunch of middle-aged geek boys who see no contradiction between someone being a sex kitten focused primarily on getting male attention and that same person being a strong, independent woman who takes care of herself and her people (by which I don't mean her chest).

A ret-conned bf and a babe-of-the-week who gets a brief scene in a second ep - these aren't threats, they're spice. They make the story interesting.

(But then, I'm hoping the whole Ronon/Jennifer/Rodney thing the Bridge Boyz are cooking up turns into a massive threesome of luuurv in fandom, so perhaps my pies are a little too high in the sky.)

Anyway, I think you should go for it. But then, the people who write my pairing of choice are very forgiving. ^_^ (And sorry for clogging up your comments with a rant - pls delete if too long/annoying!)

I wouldn't say they blithely ignored the John/Elizabeth in fandom - most of the J/T fans on GateWorld hate Elizabeth with a passion. I don't particularly care for her character, but I don't hate her. There isn't a character I hate on SGA...except, perhaps, Lucius Lavine. But who doesn't hate that guy?

Oh god, if the Rodney/Ronon/Keller angle is actually good, I will be so happy. But OMG, don't you know that would just turn SGA into a soap opera?! [/sarcasm]

I adore Ronon/Keller, but Rodney/Keller is cute too. I can be plenty reasonable when it comes to my ships!

Ah, I never ventured into the depths of het threads on GW. That would be kind of like asking for my rear end on a platter, to put it politely.

I think we should flood oddball_sga with joyous threesomes violating all the triangles and "rules" created by both the ptbs and fandom. Once the team fest is over, of course. (Because that's its own kind of love)
