greenconverses | Season Two (woot!)

Got SGA Season Two on DVD yesterday.

I was totally prepared to throw a huge hissy fit if WalMart didn't have it. WalMart has a history of letting me down when it comes to new releases (I'm still pissed that I had to drive to K-mart to find Titanic Special Edition instead). But it was there, waiting for me on the DVD rack in all of its sparkly, reflective glory!

I bought it during my open campus and brought it back to school to annoy all of my friends who really, really detest the show just because I talk about it all the time. Josie thought I looked a bit like Gollum, possibly because I was stroking the cover in a rather creepy manner.

...Yeah.

That is kinda creepy, now that I think about it.

Anyway, I can finally watch all the episodes! Still haven't seen about five of them, which is really weird considering I've watched all of Season Three on YouTube...

*shrugs*

Oh well.

My younger sister and I are planning on having an Atlantis marathon this weekend, I think. She's disappointed that she can only watch two episodes a night because I have to work every day this week. My father will probably be joining us as well because I am slowly converting everyone in my family to SGA fanatics.

Except my mother, who does not have imagination and would rather that I do something constructive with my time.

Pffft. As if.

She keeps calling it Starship Atlantis just to piss me off. I've only screamed, "IT'S STARGATE, MOTHER!!!!" one hundred times at her in the last three days, and she just keeps doing it.

Evil woman.

Let it also be known that I am writing fic, when I am not trying to convert the masses to the greatness of SGA. I just have way too many ideas bouncing around it my head at the moment. Another lovely little one popped into my head during Environmental Science today and I'm off to start typing it now.
