I'm stuck in a writing rut and I haven't done my favorite writing meme in a couple of months, so have at it.

Give me one of my fandoms, two characters, and an opening line, and I'll (try to) write 100 to 500 words of fic.

All the usual fandoms and ratings apply. Check the tags or recent entries for anything else I've squeed over lately because I'll probably write for that too.

Only two? ;___;

Percy & Annabeth, "Oh, no. She's most definitely your daughter."

...yeah, idk. BUT P/A IS ALWAYS FUN RIGHT?

Adventures in Parenting - Percy/Annabeth, PG

"Oh, she's most definitely your daughter," Percy says as Charlie stomps up the stairs to her room. He can hear every angry pound of her foot against on the floor and he tenses as he waits for her bedroom door to slam. "I haven't been made to feel this guilty for something I didn't do in a long time."

"Please," Annabeth says dismissively, although her brow is furrowed with unhappiness. She hates disciplining Charlie as much as he does. "I was not this dramatic as a teenager."

Percy shoots Annabeth a look. "Oh, yeah right."

Charlie's door slams. The impact rattles the pictures hanging along the staircase wall and they both wince.

"At least I didn't slam doors," Annabeth mutters, glancing down at her feet.

"No, you just insulted me as much as you could, destroyed all of camp's practice dummies, and then stewed in your cabin for a while," he replies, eyes still trained on the ceiling where, above them, their daughter is most certainly cursing their names and wishing they had never been born. "I'd almost prefer that than to this."
