Date: 2010-10-13 01:05 am (UTC)My B&N had an entire table filled with stacked copies. And I even tortured myself; I had half an hour to spare so I read some, and then I had to CLOSE THE BOOK AND WALK AWAY WITHOUT BUYING. I'm fairly sure I died a little inside.

Date: 2010-10-13 01:45 am (UTC)Ick, that REALLY sucks to hear. As much as I didn't want to settle, I ended up doing just that and getting the ebook so I could at least read the blasted thing. I wound up at Wal-Mart and it was the hardest thing EVER to not buy it, and keep reminding myself that I had to wait just a few more weeks to buy an actual paper copy and make do with the ebook till then. *sighs*
