Boy saves girl. It's a common plot point of TV, movies, books and even fanficition. Sometimes the boy saves the world as well as the girl, but it's usually not the other way around.

This ficathon is about the other way around. This is girl saves boy (and maybe the world too), a ficthon celebrating that women can damn well do some saving too - not just be saved.

Another person on my flist pimped that AND I WANNA SIGN UP SO HARD because it's basically tailor made for Percy and Annabeth (...or Hiccup and Astrid, now that I think about it) but oh god zero inspiration. I HATE BRAIN ZAPPING ACTIVITIES.

It'd just be playing off the Percy-going-missing plot that's already been set up in the books. There's only so many ways you can endanger an invulnerable hero and RR's already picked the most obvious one.

I wanna do this but I'm soooo nervous about writing lately! Everything I've written lately has been crap and even though I can see a Rachel/Nico idea for this, I'm not sure if I have the guts to go for it. Ugh!
