From The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray. Finally plowing my way through it, after having it on my shelf for several months. Now I remember why I was putting off reading it for so long - love the way Libba Bray writes, but the characters are just so damn stupid sometimes, I want to reach in the book and shake them. I have such a love/hate relationship with this series.
