Annabeth/Rachel
i. Rachel's the instigator. Like that's surprising.

Red hair glistens in the moonlight.

Annabeth is the contradiction Rachel adores.

"There's paint everywhere."
"Wanna help clean-up?"
ii. “An experiment,” Annabeth says, as if
testing the word. She hesitates only
momentarily; then reaches down to pull
her shirt over her head. Leaning
back against her pillows, she fiddles
with the button of her jeans.
“Are you going to join me?”
she asks, cheeks flushing red. “Or
is this a one woman experiment?”
Rachel straddles Annabeth’s hips and leans
over, red hair mixing with blonde.
“That’s a stupid question,” she replies,
nibbling on her bottom lip. “It wouldn’t
be as much fun without me.”

It's a pretty tough balancing act.
