Finally saw Star Trek. FUCKING LOVED IT. I WAS GRINNING LIKE A LOON THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE. Need an icon of Chris Pine and/or the entire cast soon.

Also saw Angels & Demons today. Decent, but forgettable I think. Like the cinematography and excellent acting on all sides. Can never go wrong with an Ewan McGregor movie. Also had way too many flashbacks to my Catholic school days while watching.

Going to bed now...

I saw A&D too. The book was better, because you can sneak in a lot more info-dump in a book of hundreds of pages than you can in a couple of hours. Loved seeing Jacob Carter, though :)

I liked the A&D book much better too, although I'm glad they cut out the Robert-with-a-makeshift-parachute at the end.

Which one was Jacob Carter? I was distracted by the random dude from Prince Caspian, Ewan, and Will Turner's daddy. ;)

Jacob Carter was the priest/scientist in the beginning who got his eye cut out.

I was the same way through Star Trek. :D I can't remember the last time I loved a movie so much!
