Oh, wow. You've written a sequel in this AU. Very nice; especially the choice of this particular moment in their histories.
The people of Earth were incredibly sensitive to the sight of the naked human body, so much so that both John and Ronon were no longer allowed to walk around the base shirtless.
I think there might be a more obvious reason why they weren't allowed to do that ;) It's easy to imagine John and Ronon as Pegasus natives distracting everyone on base with their half-nakedness and then bonding over the Earth people's strange reactions :D
Tiny nitpick: the word 'meditating' in the first line is missing a 't'. (A small part of me is disappointed that John wasn't actually mediating...)
