Zombies in the Midwest? Are you on crack?
Jun. 14th, 2007 01:06 amSo we had a couple of zombies wander into town today. Not anything the good ol' boys with shotguns couldn't take care of by themselves. There was a bit of spectacle near the bridge crossing over into Nebraska - had to close it off and check people off and let them through one by one when the police were sure they weren't the brain eating living dead. What a nightmare, let me tell you.
If the infestation gets worse, we'll probably have to baricade ourselves in WalMart for survival and reinact whatever zombie flick it was that they locked themselves in a mall - Land of the Dead? Anyway, that one's my favorite.
But the chances of there being a good zombie attack in a state where pretty much everyone has a set of guns and ammo is nill. I'm sure the zombies won't make it very far into the state before they're picked off by all our hunters.
Hmm.
I have to go report on a press conference with Governor Mike Rounds tomorrow, provided he wasn't
A.) eatten by zombies
B.) evacuated from the state because of zombies
or
C.) turned into a zombie himself...although that really won't have much effect on him as a speaker, really. The man loves to talk in circles and I'm sure a zombie version would be even better at it than he is.
I started writing Atlantis!zombie fic, but sadly got distracted before I could submit it to zombie challenge at
