The lack of dramatic moments was my only real complaint about it. I liked Annabeth's "Hi, mom." but there should have been so much more after all that. All the demi-gods being bitter in varying degress could have been excellent material.
And the scene after Percy woke up in camp could have lasted longer as he sort of adjusted to what he was seeing.
I know it's a lot harder to get character moments in movies where books can have whole pages for internal monologues but Chris/Titley should have done better on that front if they were going to make their own relationship cues for the movie.
If this movie gets a sequel, they really need to get a better screenwriter.
