Writing meme
I'm stuck in a writing rut and I haven't done my favorite writing meme in a couple of months, so have at it.
Give me one of my fandoms, two characters, and an opening line, and I'll (try to) write 100 to 500 words of fic.
All the usual fandoms and ratings apply. Check the tags or recent entries for anything else I've squeed over lately because I'll probably write for that too.

Adventures in Parenting - Percy/Annabeth, PG
"Please," Annabeth says dismissively, although her brow is furrowed with unhappiness. She hates disciplining Charlie as much as he does. "I was not this dramatic as a teenager."
Percy shoots Annabeth a look. "Oh, yeah right."
Charlie's door slams. The impact rattles the pictures hanging along the staircase wall and they both wince.
"At least I didn't slam doors," Annabeth mutters, glancing down at her feet.
"No, you just insulted me as much as you could, destroyed all of camp's practice dummies, and then stewed in your cabin for a while," he replies, eyes still trained on the ceiling where, above them, their daughter is most certainly cursing their names and wishing they had never been born. "I'd almost prefer that than to this."

Don't Say The Zed-Word - Percy and Nico, PG
Nico sighs in utter exasperation. It would be his luck the Hero of Olympus would totally be useless in the zombie apocalypse and that Nico would get stuck with him.
"Haven't you seen any of the movies?" he asks as one of the unfortunate, now arm-less zombie staggers toward them. "You can't just go chopping away at body parts! You have to aim for the head."
"With what?" Percy demands, looking wildly from Riptide in his hand to Nico.
The son of Hades resists the urge to clock Percy over the head, and instead swings his bag off his shoulder and pulls out an old-fashioned revolver. He pulls back the hammer, aims between the zombie's eyes, and fires. The zombie goes down with a pathetic moan and crumples onto the pavement.
Nico turns to find Percy goggling at him. "Where'd you learn to do that?"
"Apollo kids had a handgun lesson every Tuesday and Thursday at 11," Nico responds, putting the gun back into his bag. "Maybe you should've come instead of making out with Annabeth on the beach instead."
Percy blushes bright red and begins to stutter, but Nico's already pulling him down the alley and away from the oncoming horde.

Learning Curve - Nico/Annabeth/Percy, R
“If we keep helping him,” Percy huffs in her ear, his hand wrapping around her wrist and pulling it away from Nico's head, “he'll never learn.”
Annabeth moans unhappily, throwing her head back against the pillows and shifting her hips impatiently. She stares at cracked ceiling of their apartment, shivering as a brief second of pleasure flows through her.
“Easy for you to say, Seaweed Brain,” she snaps, glaring at him. “He's not slobbering all over your private parts.”
“Hey,” Nico says from between her legs. She squirms as she feels the vibrations of his voice against her. Annabeth glances down; his hair is sticking up from where she had her hands in it and his cheeks are flushed red with exhaustion and lust. “I resent the word slobber. I've been hard at work here. It's not my fault you're harder to please than Percy's dick.”
Annabeth shoots Percy a look, the one that says why in Hera's name did I let you convince me that letting this idiot in our bed was a good idea? She's been giving him that look at least once a week or maybe more since they've started letting Nico try anything beyond the basics in bed.
It's not that Nico's bad in bed. It's just painfully obvious that he's inexperienced in some areas and Annabeth really doesn't have the patience (or attention span, thanks to the ADHD) to let him fumble around her body and learn on his own time like Percy wants him to. She just wants to get off and Nico is not providing that relief in any measurable way right now.
“Can't I just give him a hint?” she pleads. “Please?”
“Nope,” Percy say with a sly grin. “No hints.”
“I think you like torturing me. Someday I'm not gonna put up with either of you two.”
“Well I think he just wants to make me seem terrible compared to him,” Nico replies, nuzzling her thigh with his cheek. He kisses his way back to her center. “You know that once I figure things out, you'll want me to eat you out all day long.”
Annabeth rolls her eyes. “Get me off first, di Angelo. Then you can brag all you want.”

Time and Place - Percy/Annabeth, PG
That's the last thing Percy expects to hear as he's sweeping in for another kiss, and it startles him. He pulls back, staring at Annabeth in confusion.
"Chiron? Why are you thinking about him now?"
Even in the shadows of the cabin three, he can see Annabeth's got the scrunchy, worried look on her face - a look that hadn't been there minutes before when he thought he had been kissing her senseless. It's the look that means some random little problem has suddenly popped into her head and she's going to spend the rest of the night obsessing over it needlessly.
"Well, the simulation we're running tomorrow during battle training is highly complex and we added automatons without consulting him or testing them," she replies, gray eyes narrowing in concentration. "Plus Nico's necromancy's gone haywire there might be some surprise zombies to worry about. There's just so many things that can go wrong, and he's gonna to be so mad at me - "
"Annabeth," Percy says, tucking a golden curl behind her ear. Her eyes meet his again. "He's gonna be a lot angrier about catching you in my bed after lights out if you don't be quiet."
She glowers at him, cheeks flushing, and Percy takes that as his cue to kiss her speechless before she really gets going.
