WHY DIDN'T I JUST PRE-ORDER THE DAMN THING

After my whole Mockingjay disaster I was realllllllly worried about my pre-order not coming till way late but it sems this time B&N is on point this time. Trust me though on yesterday I was scoping out Target's book sections like crazy.

I was scoping out every store that might carry books like crazy this weekend, just in case they decided to put them out early. I am weird.

HOW DID I FORGET THAT TODAY WAS THE DAY THE LOST HERO COMES OUT?!?
I NEED TO RUSH TO BORDERS! ~~IF ONLY I DIDN'T SPEND ALL MY CASH BUYING COMICS ON SUNDAY ~~WHOO DEBIT CARDS!!~~~~

I pre-ordered, but I didn't even need to. The B&N next to my school still had, like, 15 copies when I stopped there after class today. I was so tempted to bring a copy to the register and buy it to make sure that no one else got it, but then I remembered that I'd pre-ordered a copy.

Sucks, doesn't it? I was trying to justify buying two but I couldn't, lol.

I'm rushing to Borders as soon as UPS delivers the package they CLAIM WILL COME TODAY. >>

My loving and amazing went to Hastings and bought me my copy :3 I felt so bad today, though, because I was so preoccupied in tutoring with thinking about going home and reading instead of what I was supposed to be paying attention to =/

That's okay. If I had a copy of TLH waiting for me at home rather than in a day or two, I wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything else either.

Sadly, as much as I BADLY wanted a paper copy, I opted to go ahead and get the ebook for the time being. Now, so long as the ENTIRE book is there, I shall not have to hurt B&N. If it's not.................. well, all hell may break loose.

And EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Your Wal-Mart STILL didn't have it at 4 in the afternoon?! Ouch. Now that's just sad. Is there only one Wal-Mart near you?

CAN WE SWITCH SPOTS?

At this very moment I'm wish I HADN'T pre-ordered because my WalMart has a shrine, a shrine! Like, I'm not even kidding. The biggest section of the rinky dink little book aisle is PJO in all its glory! It was so hard walking away empty handed. SO HARD.

AGREED and SAME!

My B&N had an entire table filled with stacked copies. And I even tortured myself; I had half an hour to spare so I read some, and then I had to CLOSE THE BOOK AND WALK AWAY WITHOUT BUYING. I'm fairly sure I died a little inside.

Of course I had to open up to a page and read some. A sentence is all I got in... but I couldn't walk away without at least touching it!

And then I had to leave... ;_;

Ick, that REALLY sucks to hear. As much as I didn't want to settle, I ended up doing just that and getting the ebook so I could at least read the blasted thing. I wound up at Wal-Mart and it was the hardest thing EVER to not buy it, and keep reminding myself that I had to wait just a few more weeks to buy an actual paper copy and make do with the ebook till then. *sighs*

I PRE-ORDERED.

AND IT STILL HASN'T COME.

I had the urge to tweet about TLH moments but I'm afraid of people virtually kicking my ass. Thoroughly.
