I'm sure whatever exists of your bigbang fic is enjoyable and well written. My actual report for work on the other hand...I don't like failing at fic, but I'd rather fail at fic than RL. Oy.

You're pretty loaded up with prompts, so you probably won't get to this one, but I was thinking Percy/Annabeth, captains of opposite Capture the Flag teams.

“Whoever elected you captain is an idiot,” Annabeth declares, glancing over her shoulder at him as she pulls her hair up into a ponytail. “Everyone knows you have the strategy skills of a brain dead Laistrygonian giant.”

“We’ll see if you’re saying that after my team kicks your team’s collective butt,” Percy replies, clasping the last buckle on his chest plate closed and straightening it out. “I seem to recall everything working out in my team’s favor last time…”

Annabeth’s cheeks flush this reminder and she snaps back, “You got lucky. I still have the better record than you, and the skills to back it up. And I haven’t gotten myself kidnapped by a love sick nymph in the last month either!”

“I told you that was an accident!”

“And I’m sure that’s what you’ll be saying when you lose tonight too.”

“Oh, whatever, Owl Face…”

“I thought they liked each other?” Jason asks from the porch of the Hades cabin, his brow scrunching as he watches Percy and Annabeth’s argument begin to escalate.

After all the trouble he went through to get this kid back, Annabeth sure wasn’t treating him like anything special. The daughter of Athena had made his life at camp hell before he’d been sent on the quest to find Percy, and she had promised to make it even worse if he and the others didn’t bring him back in one piece.

Jason couldn’t see why she had been so concerned with Percy’s physical well-being, considering she looked ready to tear him into itty bitty pieces at the moment.

“Oh, they do,” Nico says reassuringly, leaning back in his chair and propping his shades up on his head. “But they’ve been made opposing captains in Capture the Flag today, and they’ve got these mile-wide competitive streaks that always win out over everything else. They’ll be back to sucking face by the end of the night, don’t worry.”

Jason watches as Annabeth sticks her leg out to trip Percy at the same time he tries shoves her away from him, and thinks that if love is supposed to be this crazy and weird and confusing, he doesn’t want any part of it.

At least, he amends as Piper walks by with a bunch of her siblings and smiles at him, not for a little while anyway.

Oh my gods, I love those two, especially the way you write them. I'm totally cracking up at the mental image of Annabeth trying to trip Percy while he tries to shove her. And the narration through another character was a great choice--Percabeth through other people's eyes has to be nothing short of a hilarious spectacle at times like this. I can only hope Riordan follows your lead in the next book.

I'm just going to ask for a general Anubis & Nico crossover (or an Anubis/Sadie + Nico if that somehow works out better), especially since we know they've both been to the graveyard in New Orleans and that just begs for a crossover of some sort....
Seeing how belated this is, though, I'll be surprised if you get to this one, heh.
