I agree totally. Also, I see this maybe venturing in a Jason/Piper/other Roman girl direction than another Percy love triangle. I don't think RR would do TWO triangles that were so extremely similar concurrently. At least, I hope not. I also think it would take a lot of time and pages to deal with another Percy/Annabeth love triangle, and I'm going to speculate that RR might not be so keen on that since this series is supposed to focus on the new demis. And it would be challenging to tell that story from a Piper/Leo/Jason narration, IMO. Hey, check out my rationalizing. Not bad, is it? (Pats self on back.)
