Graduation = GUH
Grad parties are insane. Mine finally got over, two hours after the scheduled time, and after all my relatives left. I'm sooooo tired right now.
I am never playing hostess again! Too much effort. Except I really didn't do most of the effort - that was left to my poor mother and my aunts. I feel terrible for not helping as much as I should of, but I was the graduate, so I have somewhat of an excuse.
Got to open my gifts. I'm going to have a lifetime supply of towels. Also finally, finally, FINALLY got my own digital camera. As a photographer, one would think that the 'rents would learn that I need my own camera, but no... They were content to let me play with the $1000 school camera my journalism advisor lent me every summer, but since that was taken away from me, I get my own now. I also received a very lovely handmade quilt from my grandmother and a HUGE portrait from my aunts.
I don't think my roommate will like the portrait at all.
Sorry if there's spelling mistakes. I is tired and am thinking about passing out on the couch.
But my dad just grabbed Star Wars IV and will be projecting it onto our garage in a few minutes, so I may just slink outside for a bit.
I still have to go through the actual graduation ceremony tomorrow too and then off to Girls fucking State. And I have to work at the radio station. (WTF were they thinking, making me work on fucking graduation? Christ.)
GAH.
