Okay, so I lent my copy of Sea of Monsters out and my roommate's asleep, so can anyone tell me at the end where Luke admits to poisoning Thalia's tree, if he seems particularly upset or conflicted about it? Because I have blanked that part out of my brain and his reaction is sort of important to the side project fic I'm working on.

And, this is just a topic for discussion on a related subject, but does anyone think Luke didn't know that the Golden Fleece would bring Thalia back? That kind of seems like something Kronos would keep on the DL, even to Luke, since lord knows that boy likes to brag about what he's planning to Percy and co. Then again, I might've overlooked the subtle clues. I think I've only read SoM all the way through once.

He... doesn't seem particularly broken up about it, no. He's pretty snarly and angry but not at all torn. (At least in the scene where Percy secretly calls Dionysus and gets Luke to admit everything. That was the only time he admitted it, wasn't it?)

I think he talks about it twice, and he's pretty ranty both times. That's what I was hoping it would be, so thanks for the help!

Okay, yeah - I couldn't remember how many times he mentioned it, but twice sounds more right. Either way, I do think he probably didn't show any remorse. Stupidhead. D:
